How You Can Improve Blog Service Sales?

WordPress blog setups, SEO services and writing services are three common blog service listings. Many blogs these days have a dedicated service page to improve earnings. It helps to get freelance clients using their blog’s popularity.

Suppose you have a blog service page, it ranks well in Google search and there is a high CTR but dismal sales. What’s stopping people from contacting you?

6 Tips to Improve Blog Service Sales

You can follow these tips.

1) Lead the Click

Does the action button stand out? Is it placed at the right place? You often lose sales opportunities because the action button is nearly invisible. If a person has to ‘search’ for the contact button, you’re doing a poor on-page optimization job.

2) Call-To-Action Relevance

‘Contact Me’ and ‘Hire Me’ are two common blog CTA but it doesn’t covert well mostly. The CTA button content should be relevant to the service. For instance, if you are selling WordPress setups, adding ‘Hire a WordPress Expert’ or ‘Let’s Create Your Blog’ will convert well.

Match the CTA button content with good color combinations and you’re all set to do business.

3) Service Offer Clarity

What exactly are you offering? No one has time to read a long descriptive text explaining your services. Be quick, be precise and relevant. If you are selling SEO services, mention:

a brief on service deliverables (be precise)
testimonials
portfolio
rate card (if you want to make it public)
contact button
…that’s it!

4) Use Bold Messaging

Make use of the F-rule. Popular heatmapping services show that a person starts to scan a page from the top left side and scans lesser and lesser as the cursor goes down. Therefore, utilize the top left section on delivering a strong CTA message, a value-based proposition.

5) No Distractions

The blog service page should be in ‘Full Width’ mode. It will eliminate the sidebar and give you the full attention of the potential blog service seeker. You have more space to design the service content. Don’t add unnecessary information like images unless there’s any relevance.

6) Newsletter Pop-Up

Improve blog service sales by adding a newsletter pop-up page triggered when the visitor clicks on the ‘X’ button to move away. You can create a custom newsletter services for people signing up through this page. Send strategic newsletters with information about case studies, your success stories, SEO inputs, writing tips or whatever is relevant to indirectly mould their mind into seeking our your blog services.

I hope you will use these 6 ideas to improve blog service sales.

Three Tricks Of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Owners Should Need to Know

In a lot of ways, the version of iOS 8 that runs on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is identical to what iPhone 5S or 5C owners use—except for three features that take advantage of the newer models' larger screens. If you've got any Phone 6 or 6 Plus, getting to know these three features will help you enjoy your iPhone even more.
Display Zoom

Both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have bigger screens than any iPhone before them (4.7 and 5.5 inches, respectively, versus the 4-inch screen available on the previous three models). Thanks to a feature called Display Zoom, you can take advantage of those larger screens in two ways: to show more content or to make the content bigger.
Display Zoom lets you choose the way your screen displays content. Because the iPhone 6 Plus' screen is 1.5 inches bigger than the screen on the iPhone 5S, for instance, it can use that extra space to show more words in an email, more of a website, etc.
Display Zoom is also helpful for users with poor eyesight or who just prefer bigger onscreen elements. In this case, the bigger screen is used to enlarge the text, icons, images, and other elements displayed on the phone to make them easier to read.
Choosing the Standard or Zoomed option in Display Zoom is part of the set-up process for both phones, but if you want to change your selection, simply follow these steps:
Tap the Settings app
Tap Display & Brightness
Tap Display Zoom
On this screen, you can tap Standard or Zoomed to see a preview of each option. Swipe side to side to see the option in different scenarios so you can get a good idea of how it will look.
Make your selection and tap Set.
Reachability

The new, larger screens on the 6 and 6 Plus are great for a lot of things, but getting more screen real estate means giving up some things, especially the ability to easily use the phones with one hand. On iPhones with smaller screens, holding the phone with one hand and reaching to even the farthest icons with your thumb is possible for most people. Only people will big hands (or who really stretch) will be able to easily make that reach on the iPhone 6, while almost no one will be able to do it on the 6 Plus.
Landscape Layout (iPhone 6 Plus only)

The iPhone has supported landscape layout—turning the phone on its side and having the content reorient to be wider than tall—since its debut. Apps have used landscape for all kinds of things, from being the default layout for some apps to providing access to hidden content in others.
One thing that never supported landscape mode, though, was the home screen. That's changed now. This only applies to the iPhone 6 Plus due to its much bigger size, but if you've got one, it may come in handy.
When you're at the home screen, simply turn your 6 Plus so that it's wider than tall and the screen will reorient to move the dock to the edge of the phone and shift the icons to match the screen's orientation.
That's neat, but it gets even cooler in some of the built-in iOS apps like Mail and Calendar. Open those apps and turn the phone to landscape mode and you'll reveal new interfaces for the apps that show information in different ways.

Advantages And Disadvantage Of Drinking Green Tea

Just like any other natural products on the market, drinking green tea has its own pros and cons.
Fortunately, there are more advantages of this tea than disadvantages. This healthy beverage has been a highly recommended one since its benefits have been unleashed by health experts. In China, India and Japan, green tea is used as a diuretic and astringent.
Whether you take in tablet, capsule, or extract form, there are plenty of health benefits that you can obtain from taking green tea. Listed below are some of the pros of green tea consumption.
Pros And Cons Of Green Tea
1. Prevents Cancer Cells
Compared with coffee, green tea has 10 times more antioxidants than those found in fruits and vegetables. In various medical studies, it showed that this tea is highly beneficial to your health by detoxifying harmful chemicals in the body through its anti-oxidants.
Polyphenols of green tea travel around your body to look for cell-damaging free radicals. Once they found them, they immediately detoxify them so they can be easily eliminated from the body.
Green tea was also found to block the cells that have been damaged by tobacco and other toxic materials. In animal studies, rats that drank green tea regularly showed to reduce their risk of cancer.
And when you look at green drinkers in Japan and China, you’ll notice that their population has lower incidence of heart disease. They also don’t have the same number of cancers as those you find in the Western world.
2. Lowers L.D.L Levels
L.D.L is known as the bad cholesterol in the body. Researchers validated green tea’s role in lowering bad cholesterol. Clinical trials showed that those participants with high L.D.L were found to have reduced L.D.L levels after they took green on a regular basis. Although the values were not drastic, the points were large enough to be significant.
The catechins of green tea are the reasons of the cholesterol-lowering benefits of this beverage. But you need to take its brewed form as it contains more lowering-LDL benefits than its capsule counterpart. You should remember that whole ingredients can offer more benefits than isolated ones. So, you must keep it in mind when looking for green tea as your natural remedy in lowering your bad cholesterol in the body.
3. Regulates PH Level
Having an acidic level in the body can be detrimental to your health. Unfortunately, fried foods and red meats are all culprits in decreasing your body’s pH level. What’s bad thing about acidic diet? It could contribute to chronic inflammation, as well as acid reflux disease and osteoporosis.
But this could be mitigated through the alkalinizing effects of green tea. It keeps the body’s pH level from decreasing, thereby, promoting overall health. It also lowers your risk of having kidney stones while it slows down bone loss and muscle waste, increases growth hormone and eases your low back pain. It may also prevent colorectal cancer because of green tea’s alkalinizing effects.
4. Prevents Tooth Decay
Green tea is also good for your oral health. According to a new research, a cup of green tea a day lowers your risk of tooth decay. Researchers assumed that the anti-microbial properties known as catechins of green tea are the reasons it can offer a protective role in your teeth and oral health.
But, you can only obtain the oral health benefits of green tea by choosing to drink it without sugar. Sweetener negates its health benefits. Drinking sweet green tea can make you lose your teeth.
Nevertheless, the boosting effects of green tea in your periodontal health should not be neglected.
5. Burns Calories
The catechins are not only effective in helping you keep a healthy teeth and gums but they’re also beneficial in eliminating accumulated body fats. Medical research suggested that the catechins found in green treat can prevent obesity because of their cholesterol-lowering abilities.
In addition to that, green tea also raises your metabolism, thereby, helping you lose weight.
6. Prevents Rheumatoid Arthritis
Consuming at least four cups of green each day can prevent yourself from developing rheumatoid arthritis. Again, thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties.
Unfortunately, green tea is not all about providing health benefits. This type of tea may also cause negative side effects, if taken in excess.
HERE ARE SOME OF THE SIDE EFFECTS OF CONSUMING THIS TYPE OF TEA:

Nausea and upset stomach
These side effects are not uncommon. The main reason these negative effects arise is the presence of tannins, which stimulate your body to secrete more acid. This is one of the reasons green tea is not advisable to patients with peptic ulcer. However, if you still want to take this tea, you must drink it after a meal. Nausea can be prevented if you add milk to your tea. But this may cause the healthy polyphenols to become inactive.
Palpitations
They’re caused by the caffeine content of green tea. Even though it contains less amount of caffeine than in coffee or black tea, you may have high sensitivity to small levels of caffeine causing palpitation. But you can avoid such by choosing decaffeinated green tea or Japanese green tea. The latter has a calming effect on your brain that may help in reducing the stimulating effects of caffeine.
Iron Deficiency Anemia
The tannins in green tea may hinder proper absorption of iron in the intestine resulting in iron deficiency anemia to some individuals. However, if you have too much iron in your body, then this could be a good thing.
Knowing the pros and cons of green tea may give you a clue that this beverage is not for everyone. That said, it’s important that you talk to your doctor if it’s safe for you to drink green tea every day.

How to Make Money on Facebook

As a small-business owner, you probably don't have the resources that a large corporation employs for online advertising campaigns, but social media consultant and author Brian Carter says that even solopreneurs with limited funds can gain the competitive edge in this vast cyber-arena.

"For years the Internet has provided us with the wildest opportunities that haven't been very competitive or expensive," says Carter. And with all of these options available to us, Carter is most passionate about Facebook advertising.  "It provides us with the biggest opportunities—it's a great place to profit," he says.

"Advertising on Facebook is the biggest opportunity for businesses large and small," Carter says.  "What Facebook advertising does, which is great, is to allow you to reach a TV-sized audience, locally, nationally and even internationally, and still target it the way you would in any internet marketing campaign, yet start with just five bucks a day. To me it’s revolutionary because businesses can reach an audience they couldn’t have ever reached before."

If you've jumped into the Facebook frenzy, like millions of business owners, by creating a Facebook page: congratulations—but that simply isn't enough. "There are a lot of problems with pages," Carter claims. Recently, he combined efforts with Edge Rank Checker and found that the average page across 4000 pages is only reaching 17 percent of their fans. So if you have 100 fans, you may only be reaching 17 people with all of your hard work! "The downside of the page is that you're not visible to all of your fans," says Carter.

Like any marketing campaign, it's apparent that you need a strategy before you launch your page. So how can a small business benefit from what Facebook has to offer? Here's what I learned from my conversation with Carter. And I'm learning much more from his most recent book release,
Combine your Facebook marketing plan.......with the strategies that you are best at. If you're good at e-mail marketing, for instance, use Facebook ads to get more e-mail subscribers. If your website converts traffic really well, use your page to drive traffic there. Always plug into what you already know works well for your business.
If you're growing fans through Facebook advertising......get people to click "Like" right on the ad. You will get a lot cheaper fans that way than if you send them to a fan page through your ad. If you run an ad that sends people to a custom tab because you want to get an opt-in, that's the same thing as sending them to another website, and you may not want to do that. Not everyone will put in their e-mail and click like so you are dividing your efforts. Decide first if you want fans or e-mail subscribers. If you want fans, don't send them directly to a custom tab.
Think of your page as a social e-mail.
There's a chance that followers will see your updates in their feed, but you have to really capture them within your first few posts. There are parallels to e-mail in this strategy; not everyone will open them. If you get a 30 percent open rate, you're doing great. On Facebook you can use the same strategies to do really well. The difference is that with e-mail marketing you don't want to send out e-mails everyday or you will lose your subscribers.
If you're not sure......whether the greatest benefit will come from sending people from your ad to your site, your Facebook opt-in page, or gaining fans through prompting them to click "Like" right on the ad, test them all! See how much it costs you to acquire a fan, and how much traffic you get from those fans, versus the cost of acquiring an e-mail and the ROI on that e-mail address.
Engage with your fans in your posts.
Don't make every post a call to action. You want to turn the folks who like your page into true fans of your brand.
Boring Facebook pages won't get you far.
If your business isn't something that most people would consider exciting, like culture, lifestyle sports, animals, dating, kids – or anything that people get gushy about—go the opt-in route rather than the fan marketing route.  If your business is attractive to many consumers, use pictures in your ads to entice them to click like. If your brand allows you the creative freedom to toss in a picture of a puppy, cat or baby, you’re golden! People will click on your ad.
Remember one of the key differences......between using AdWords and Facebook advertising. That is, in order to generate revenue through online advertising, you must reach the right people, with the right message, at the right time, with the right offer. It's possible to do this with AdWords and Facebook ads. The main difference is that AdWords is about fulfilling demand: finding the small set of people who are ready to buy, or very close to it, and capitalizing on finding people at that stage of the sales funnel. With Google you are targeting people by what they are looking for. With Facebook  you are targeting them by who they are and what they like. These are people who are likely to buy from you at some point which is a larger group of people. There's more sales potential overall. But be careful not to spend too much money on people who are going to wait three or four years to buy, unless you have a sales cycle that is naturally that long. But you may be able to get them to buy sooner than they would have by posting enticing posts or with compelling conversion practices on your website.
Facebook page insights......can be a great resource to learn about your audience. You'll find this tab on your admin panel on Facebook in the left hand column. Look at the graphs that tell you how many people are liking you per day, how many people are talking about you, sharing your posts, etc. Notice what type of posts get more engagement than others and create more like them. Know your audience, put yourself in their shoes and engage them!
In light of Google's new Search Plus Your World, I couldn't resist asking Carter if he thought Google+ will give Facebook a run for its money anytime soon. "Google+ can become big if it becomes more sticky—if we can enjoy using it more," Carter says. "Right now it's all the early adopters on Google+. It's not really an opportunity for most marketers because there is not enough of a general audience there. Google+ has to be more fun to use to attract that audience. Search Plus might be a strong-arm tactic to try to force it to happen faster."
He continues: "It certainly could be a big deal at some point but there are phases of adoption of something new—like Facebook was in 2009. There aren't enough people on it in this phase to do any real marketing. But once it reaches enough adoption the network effect happens. You can reach more than half of the United States with Facebook ads, and Google+ is just not there yet."

Join me on Monday, January 23 on Toginet Radio, where Brian Carter will join me to talk more about how small businesses can make money on Facebook. If you can't make the live Million Dollar Mindset broadcast at 2 pm eastern, download the podcast anytime after 4 p.m.

What is USB 3.1?

USB 3.0 has become the defacto peripheral interface for computers, tablets and smartphones. When it was first announced, it took a while for the standard to eventually get implemented. While the interface is certainly fast, there is room for improvement. USB 3.1 was announced back in 2014 but only at the beginning of 2015 are we starting to see devices implement what seems to be a minor update which is in fact much bigger. So what exactly does USB 3.1 add and why is it going to become the next major interface standard?
More Speed

Officially called USB Super Speed+, the USB 3.1 standard is meant to be an extension of the current 3.0 version. When first released, USB 3.0 was very fast at 4.8Gbps which was practically ten times the speed of the previous USB 2.0. The USB 3.1 specification does increase the speed up to 10Gbps which is just over two times the 3.0 speeds. This is not as big of a speed jump but it does help it keep a bit more inline with other peripheral interfaces like Thunder Bolt which started at 10Gbps but has increased to twice that with its 2.0 version. Now, USB 3.1 interface ports should be fully compatible with the previous standards at their slower speeds but there may be an issue where you might need to get some new cables.
New Connector

The USB 3.1 specification brings with it a new connector type. USB 3.0 did propose a new connector type but in practice it was never used because it was not practical as it used something similar to the large USB B style connector. The new Type C connector brings with it new features but also differs from the previous Type A and Type B. Unlike the failed USB 3.0 connector, this one will likely be a success because of its capabilities. In terms of size, it is smaller than the standard Type A connector but larger than the mini-USB used on many smaller peripherals and devices. This could be a problem for some extremely thin devices but the advantages might outweigh the extra size.

USB ports and connectors have always been keyed to only fit in a specific direction. The Type C connector brings to it a reversible design similar to that used by Apple's Lightning connector. Basically, you can plug the cable in either way and it will automatically sync the proper pins and function. This makes connecting devices much easier to chargers or other devices.
The Type C connector is compatible with the older USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 devices. Now the connector is a different size so it will be necessary to either have and adapter to convert a Type C to a Type A connector or you will need to get a special Type C to Type A cable to connect two devices with different connectors together.
Increased Power Output

Probably the most significant change to USB 3.1 is tied to the new Type C connector. Previous versions of the USB specification has been extremely limited in the amount of power that it will provide to devices. This was not an issue when it was primarily used for external peripherals like mice and keyboards. The problem is that USB is now becoming one of the prominant ways to also charge up mobile devices like smart phones. The 900mAh limit of the original USB 3.0 meant that many devices were taking forever to charge over the USB data cable.
Under the new specifications, devices using the Type C connectors will be able to supply additional power over the 5V lines. The baseline 900mA power will still be provided by the USB 3.0 specifications but an additional 1.5A and 3.0A can be supplied. This should help speed up the ability to supply power for charging mobile device and better running external peripherals over the bus such as portable hard drives which may require adapters pulling power from two USB ports.
The new Type C connector of USB 3.1 also brings additional power capabilities with USB Power Delivery. What this does is define additional USB pins for 12 v and 20 v power over the cable. Depending upon the voltage lines and profile used, the new profile and cables can supply up to 100 watts of power. This is enough power that the USB 3.1 connection with a Type C cable could also be used as a power supply cable for a high powered laptop. Mind you, that same cable could also be used to carry data back to a USB hub built into the power adapter. This is extremely beneficial because it provides a standard small power connect that manufacturer's can use but also makes it for more universal power supplied for laptops as
Final Thoughts

Even though the USB 3.1 standard does not have a huge increase in the speed of the data it can transport, it is a huge improvement especially for mobile devices. Adoption of the connector might be mixed though. Consumers probably will not like it at first as it is yet another type of cable or connector that they will have to carry around. The convenience of being able to plug it in either way and the improved power support will likely make many consumers change their minds though. Let's just hope that the adoption of the new standard will be faster than USB 3.0 but once again it will likely take Intel and AMD integrating it into their chip sets in order for it to really take off.
